ESCRS Achievement Award
The ESCRS Achievement Award recognises ESCRS members for their significant contributions to ESCRS and the field of Ophthalmology. This prestigious award is designed to acknowledge and rewards the dedication and efforts of individuals who actively participate in and enhance the society's initiatives, and its field.
To be eligible for nomination, a candidate must:
- Be an ESCRS member.
- Demonstrated meaningful and sustained contributions to ESCRS in one or more of the following areas:
- Scientific and educational programs (e.g., presentations, courses, research).
- Leadership or service (e.g., committee participation, chair roles).
- Innovation in ophthalmology or ESCRS initiatives. For example – a research abstract that has made a difference/impact in the field.
- Full Name and ESCRS Membership Number.
- Summary of contributions to ESCRS and ophthalmology.
- Optional supporting documents (conference participation, published work, testimonials).
- Optional endorsement from a peer or ESCRS leadership member.
- ESCRS Awards Board/Nominated Judges review nominations.
- Evaluations are based on impact, consistency, and leadership (or awards panel to define these).
- The final list of awardees is approved by (please define).
