To demonstrate the safety of the B-HEX Pupil Expander when used in intraoperative miosis after a capsulorhexis. The B-HEX Pupil expander was safely engaged to the pupil margin using a 23 gauge forceps through the main and side-port incisons. The flanges were tucked and carried an extra distance toward the periphery to confirm that the capsulorhexis margin was not engaged. The visibility of the gaps of the notches of the B-HEX allowed safe tucking of flanges without engaging the capsulorhexis margin.
