Watch this inspiring video which shows how a Nepali doctor is making it his life's mission to bring sight and hope to those paralysed by cataracts. Locals call Dr Sandak Ruit "The God Of Sight". Dr Ruit has helped more than 100,000 people blinded by cataracts see again. His surgeries often take him into the remote mountains, where patients are too poor and weak to travel to his clinic in the capital, Kathmandu. The doctor and his team set up eye camps, performing free,  surgeries using a stitch-free simple surgical technique called 'Ruitectomy', which Dr Ruit pioneered. During his time in the Bamti district, he aims to complete 50 surgeries each day. http://www.aljazeera.com/programmes/101east/2014/07/gift-sight-201471574440164234.html
