Alcon announced the launch of the AcrySofR IQ ReSTORR +2.5 D multifocal intraocular lens (IOL) during the XXX ESCRS meeting in Milan, Italy. Built on the proven AcrySofR IQ IOL platform, the new AcrySofR IQ ReSTORR +2.5 D multifocal lens is designed to deliver sharp distance vision for cataract patients with distant dominant visual needs. “The AcrySofR IQ ReSTORR +2.5 lens is our latest technology advancement in the family of AcrySofR IQ ReSTORR IOLs. The AcrySofR IQ ReSTORR family provides surgeons lens options to tailor treatment for their cataract patients’ vision and lifestyle needs,†said Stuart Raetzman, head of global commercial strategy, Alcon. “With the addition of the AcrySofR IQ ReSTORR +2.5 IOL, Alcon continues to bring surgeons the broadest portfolio of presbyopia correcting IOLs.
