Purpose
To evaluate the outcomes and complications of extracapsular cataract in patients with mature cataract or weak zonules or dence corneal opacity .
Setting
ECCE with a tertiary ophthalmology centre
Methods
Local anethesia , with conjuctival wound then can opener capsulorhexisthen delivary of the nucleus , IOL implantation then sutures with taken
Results
ECCE is better prognsis for patients with dense cataract than phacoemulsification with increase property of complications
Conclusion
ECCE is better prognsis for patients with dense cataract than phacoemulsification
