Purpose
To evaluate our clinical outcomes obtained after cataract surgery with implantation of an intraocular lens with Continuous Transitional Focus (CTF) : Precizon Presbyopic NVA.
Setting
Methods
Retrospective study of patients who underwent cataract surgery with bilateral implantation of a continuous transitional focus Precizon Presbyopic IOL.
Postoperative visual, refractive, near and distance outcomes without correction were evaluated during a minimum of 6-month follow-up. Age, gender, correction, optical biometry, keratometry, HOA, chord mu and refractive target were collected preoperatively.
Results
148 eyes of 74 patients (mean age: 65.5 years) were enrolled, the average follow-up is 9 months. 30 days after surgery, the mean post operative uncorrected distance visual acuity (UDVA) were 0.07 LogMar ± 0.7 in monocular and -0.01 LogMar ± 0.06 in binocular. The mean post operative uncorrected near visual acuity (UNVA) were 0.28 LogMar in monocular and 0.22 LogMar in binocular (from 0 to 0.4). At the last consultation, the mean post operative uncorrected distance visual acuity (UDVA) were 0.08 LogMar ± 0.07 in monocular and 0 LogMar ± 0.1 in binocular. We will present the results of the multivariate analysis which determine physiological factors which could influence post operative results with this IOL.
