1.1 This Site is owned by The European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, a private limited company by guarantee without share capital, registered in England and Wales under number 03153785 with its registered office at 5th Floor 10 Finsbury Square, London, EC2A 1AF ("ESCRS", “we”, “our”, and “us”).
1.2 ESCRS is a European scientific society of eye surgeons, open to international membership. Its activities include the promotion of education and research in the field of implant and refractive surgery and the study and practice of ophthalmology and research. It also promotes experimental work in the field of intraocular lens implantation and refractive surgery.
1.3 ESCRS is a charity registered with the Charities Commission under number 1066532.

3. THESE TERMS

8.1 The name “The European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons” and “ESCRS” and the ESCRS logo are registered or unregistered trade marks of The European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not ESCRS's, nor in any manner that is likely to cause confusion, or in any way that may disparage or discredit ESCRS.
8.2 Other trademarks or logos that appear on this Site are the property of their respective owners and are likely to be registered trademarks and subject to restrictions as to their use. They must not be used without the express permission of both ESCRS and the trademark owner.

16. APPLICABLE LAW
16.1 These Terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of this Site in the English courts. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.
