REFRACTIVE SURGERY OUTCOMES INFORMATION SYSTEM
HOW IT WORKS
Each Participating Clinic or Ophthalmologist will be supplied with a unique user ID and LOG On. Access to the Refractive Surgery Outcomes Information System will be available here
Each patient of the ophthalmologist will be input as a new record in real time. All details for Specified fields must be filled out then the surgery outcomes and surgery follow up data must be inserted. Once all the patient demographics and surgical data has been recorded, all participating ophthalmologists will be able to compare results (data/statistics) anonymously, by cross referencing their own records with that of other ophthalmologists in their own clinic, country or Worldwide.
The system runs on a database server that includes database back up systems and systems for surveillance, security and licences. Technical support is available from Monday to Friday. The support can be reached via email: eyenetsupport@ltblekinge.se
