with pseudophakic pseudoaccommodation
IN PATIENTS with mild to moderate
against-the-rule astigmatism who are
undergoing cataract surgery with
implantation of a monofocal posterior
chamber IOL, preserving the astigmatism
and aiming for a slightly myopic
postoperative refraction appears to
increase their likelihood of benefiting
from pseudophakic
pseudoaccommodation, according to the
results of a study conducted at the
University of North Carolina School of
Medicine, Chapel Hill. -
